Everyone talks about sustainability. At Petucci, we live it.
We always keep a close eye on our ecological footprint and ensure that our production processes are designed with care.
With our pet furniture we do not only wish to do something good for you and your darling, but we also want to make our contribution to environmental protection and fulfil our social responsibility. We have therefore intensively concerned ourselves with the subject of sustainability and put our efforts into practice with everything we do.
How do we live sustainability
Natural raw materials
Whether wood, oils or stone: For our products, we use only natural sustainable raw materials, most of which are sourced from the immediate surroundings and processed with love, care and experience.
Wood as a sustainable material
As a carpentry business, our heart is particularly attached to wood. Wood as a building material is a renewable resource, and as furniture material it has an excellent ecological balance. For our products we only use solid wood, which is either cut from the trunk or processed in the 3-layer form. We deliberately do not use chipboard.
Wood in numbers:
- 30.4 millionm3 of wood grows back in Austria every year.
- This is roughly equivalent to 5,500 football pitches.
- During a single day, the amount of wood for 2,160 single-family wooden houses grows back, in this country.
Handmade in Austria
At Petucci, we focus on honest, loving craftsmanship from local companys. Our products are produced by us or by companies from the immediate vicinity. Most of our raw materials also come from the region.
Short transport routes and local production protects the environment and creates jobs in local businesses. Thereby, we ensured sustainable production and fulfill our social responsibility.
Sustainable production
Our environmentally friendly approach runs through our entire production. The Petucci mattresses, for example, are manufactured in a climate-neutral manner in Salzburg and the raw materials are mostly sourced regionally.
From the procurement and quality of the raw materials to the sustainable design of the transport routes and the processing of the material: the well-being of humans, animals and the environment is our top priority.
Good for humans, animals and nature
It is important to us, to live sustainability in all areas. We therefore not only make sure that our pet furniture never harms your pet, but also that it does not harm the environment.
For the surfaces of our pet furniture, we therefore only use paints made from purely vegetable raw materials that are absolutely harmless to flora and fauna. We do not use lacquers, but only high-quality oils with which we seal the furniture during a special finishing process.
