Material: Rattan
Our side tables are made from plant fibers. They therefore smell and feel wonderfully like nature.
Rattan palms tend to grow in large quantities in dense forests, where they are considered invasive plants because they take up space from other plants and remove many nutrients from the soil. The stalks, which grow back quickly without chemical additives, must be cut off regularly and can be used as material for furniture and baskets after the drying process. This makes rattan an extremely sustainable material that is available in abundance.

No harmful chemicals are used in the manufacturing process. As all work steps are carried out by hand, the production process produces hardly any greenhouse gas emissions.
