Despite its size, the Kenari pendant light appears delicate thanks to its intricate weaving technique and curved shape, creating a warm play of light in your home. For this lamp, the natural material rattan is shaped by heating and reinforced by a sturdy metal frame.
Kenari is supplied without a cable, but you can buy it in the desired length and color at any DIY store. A light source is also not included.

Our lampshades are made from plant fibers. They therefore smell and feel wonderfully like nature.
Rattan palms tend to grow in large quantities in dense forests, where they are considered invasive plants because they take up space from other plants and remove many nutrients from the soil. The stalks, which grow back quickly without chemical additives, must be cut off regularly and can be used as material for furniture and baskets after the drying process. This makes rattan an extremely sustainable material that is available in abundance.

When selecting our local producers, we attach great importance to fair payment and good working conditions. Only experienced and adult craftsmen work in the companies from which we source our goods. No harmful chemicals are used in the manufacturing process. As all work steps are carried out by hand, the production process produces hardly any greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and ongoing personal contact with the companies.
