For our extraordinary Dari lidded basket, different colored bamboo strips are woven together by hand in an elaborate process with great dedication to create the eye-catching zig-zag pattern. As a result, the basket immediately catches the eye – and still fits into any living environment thanks to its simple, bright colors.
Use it as a spacious laundry basket with a practical lid and handles, for example. However, we also particularly like Dari as a towel basket in the bathroom, which harmonizes perfectly with white ceramic, or simply as an eye-catching decorative element in our favourite place at home.

This basket is handmade in Java, Indonesia.
When selecting our local producers, we attach great importance to fair payment and good working conditions. Only adult and experienced artisans work in the companies from which we source our goods. No harmful chemicals are used in the manufacturing process. As all work steps are carried out by hand, the production process causes hardly any greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and ongoing personal contact with the companies.
